Return Policy

We have a simple and hassle-free return policy for certain products purchased from the Website provided following conditions are fulfilled:

  1. Buyer is required to inform  with the “photographic evidence” of the defective item via email  to or  at 0120 4908232 the Customer care Phone  within 8 hrs of receipt  to activate refund process. .(The “time of receipt” will be the time provided by the courier in their delivery receipt.)
  2. Post registration you will have 5 days from the delivery date to decide if an item is right for you
  3. You must be located in India as this facility is not available to patrons located outside India.
  4. Customer must ensure that they are returning the  items as received.Further all invoice, labels, tags, authenticity cards, packing bag , hangers and other packaging material sent/sold as a part of the product must be returned. Please ensure than gift items sent along with product should also be sent in their original condition.
  5. Please ensure that garment sought to be returned should be unworn or unwashed. In case the customer care team detects that the item has been used /worn or damaged or soiled then it will not be accepted for return or exchange.
  6. All footwear sought to be returned or exchanged, must not be used in any way and be unused. For testing of  footwear please ensure that all testing is done on a carpeted surface. Footwear with worn soles will not be accepted for return or exchange.
  7. Products returned under this policy will be subject to quality testing/inspection by customer care team . Full Photographic evidence will be maintained for records and may be shared with Customer
  8. If accepts the product returned, you will be entitled to receive refunds in the form of Modest21 vouchers only.
  9. For the purpose of this policy, the term ‘Wrong (incorrect) product’ means the product does not match the description or specification set out in the purchase order or Website with respect to colour, size, or material.
  10. We and our Merchants take utmost care to deliver the products as per your order. If incorrect product is delivered, you must notify us by sending an email at within 8 hrs  of receiving the product.


Please Note

There are certain scenarios where it is difficult for us to support returns  Such scenarios include but are not limited to the following:

  • The Refund request is delayed made beyond the specified time frame as indicated the policy above.
  • Product is damaged because of use.
  • Product has been tampered meaning intentional modification of products or any other way found and verified by the customer care team .
  • Anything is missing from the package including price tags, labels, original packing, freebies and accessories
  • The shipment gets delayed due to uncontrollable conditions like bad weather, civil unrest , logistic or other acts of nature and the customer thinks that they do not need the products any longer due to this delay.
  • The item must not in the list of non-returnable or non-exchangeable products given at the end of the policy. The list may be updated from time to time and without any prior intimation.


  • Please note that the following items cannot be returned:
    • bodysuits,
    • lingerie & sleepwear,
    • swimwear,
    • jewellery, and accessories (except scarves, bags, and mermaid blankets).
    • We do not accept returned items that were sent back by you directly without checking with us first.


Refund Policy

Return request  are normally processed within 5 business days after it is  received at our designated  package. “Modest 21 Refund vouchers” are issued and sent as email to your email account  . Once the refund has been issued, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note

  • Returning shipping charges are non-refundable
  • We do not accept packages returned using C.O.D. delivery


NoteThe original shipping fee, COD charges and insurance are non-refundable.

How to return

  1. If you made the purchase as a registered user, log in to your account to initiate the process.
  2. If you made the purchase as a “Guest” , please register using the same email address provided while purchasing the product so that your products appear in your order history. The Return process will only be initiated/accepted if the said product appears in your order history.
  3. Alternatively, you can initiate the returns/exchange procedure by writing an e-mail to us at
  4. If you are not the actual purchaser but received the product from some other customer, (for example as gift), you will have to request the concerned customer to initiate the return process.
  5. Upon receiving a ‘Returns/Exchange Request’, we will generate a ticket number which will be shared with you. This ticket number must be used in all communication(s) with
  6. After receiving return instructions from us, please package up the item(s) to be returned with the original packing
  • Securely pack the item(s) in a box or envelope of your choice.
  • Please ensure that the “Refund Authorization Number” is added after the Recipient name in all your communications.
  • Mail your return package using a traceable carrier.
  • Please note Orders by COD cannot be returned

  • Please use email Subject “Return Request – Order No. 20XXXXXX”
  • To ensure proper processing, please select the appropriate Return Reason Code listed on your Return Form.



Unfortunately, we are unable to process exchanges at the moment. We apologize for this inconvenience. If you have received an incorrect or defective item, please send your request to our customer service team, and we’ll get back to you within 24 hours.



  • Lifestyle Accessories, like jewellery, clutches, wallets, bags, scarves, Footwear etc.
  • Custom made products;
  • Altered products as per the specifications/measurements provided by you;
  • Products that are purchased in any sale/promotion organised by Modest21; and
  • Products which were identified/marked as non-returnable or non-exchangeable at the time of purchase;
